Behnke Station doesn't find the camera
If you connect a camera (network or USB camera) to the Behnke Station, it should be recognized automatically and the item "Camera" should appear in the menu on the left. The video image should also be available via "Visualisation" at the top right.

If this is not the case, you can find possible reasons for this problem on this site.
1. The connected camera is not a Behnke camera
Automatic camera detection only works if you are using a Behnke camera. USB cameras from third-party manufacturers cannot be integrated. If you want to integrate a network camera from a third-party manufacturer, the camera must be configured manually in the web interface of the Behnke Station. The following requirements apply to IP cameras from third-party manufacturers:
- The camera does not need to be connected to the Behnke Station's expansion port/USB expansion port.
- The camera must provide an MJPG stream.
- The video stream must be accessible via HTTP.
How to set up a camera from a third-party manufacturer on the Behnke Station is described in the following configuration guide: IP camera as system camera for SIP video calls.
2. The credentials for accessing the camera have been changed
If you use a Behnke IP camera but have changed the credentials to access the camera, the Behnke Station cannot automatically detect the camera. In this case, do the following:
On the Behnke Station's web interface, click on the "Network" item in the menu on the left and scroll down to the "IP camera" section. Under "Integration", select the "automatic detection (own password)" option and enter the changed credentials here.

3. Camera or USB extension adapter defective
If you can rule out the problems described above, there may be a defect.
3.1. Behnke USB camera
If you are using a Behnke USB camera and the camera is correctly connected to the basic electronics but is still not detected, please contact our sales department or the dealer from whom you purchased the camera. If you are in doubt as to whether the camera is really defective, please contact our support.
3.2. USB expansion adapter with Behnke IP camera
Please first check on the web interface whether the USB expansion adapter has been detected. To do this, click on "System" in the menu on the left. There you will find the entry "USB expansion port" in the list in the "Information" section. This shows whether a USB expansion adapter is connected or not.

If no adapter has been detected, please check the connection of the adapter according to the manual. If the adapter is connected correctly and is not detected even after restarting the Behnke Station, please contact our sales department or the dealer from whom you purchased the adapter.
If the adapter was detected but the IP camera was not, please connect the camera directly to your network as a test. If you can then access the camera, please contact our support. Otherwise, please contact our sales department or the dealer from whom you purchased the camera.
3.3. Behnke IP camera on the second LAN port of the basic electronics
If you are using a device with a "AIF hybrid" connection board, an IP camera can be connected directly to the second LAN port. However, if your camera is not detected here and the above-mentioned problems can be ruled out, please contact our sales department or the dealer from whom you purchased the camera.
ATTENTION:The second LAN port can only be used on Behnke Stations that have an "AIF hybrid" connection board! In Behnke Stations with other connection boards, the second port is present, but has no function and is therefore closed with a black cover! You can see which AIF your Behnke Station has on the web interface in the menu item "System", in the section "Information", under "Connection board".
