Determining the platform of the Behnke station
The Behnke station is available in two platform variants, each requiring its own firmware file. This guide explains how to identify the platform of your station so you can select the appropriate firmware.
It is assumed that the Behnke-Station is already set up to the extent that access to the web interface is possible. If this is not the case, please follow the instructions provided with your base electronics (manuals) and refer to the technical manual to complete the basic setup.
Important
Please check the following: A Behnke station is classified as Platform P1 if at least one of the following criteria applies:
- The firmware version is earlier than version 6.33, or
- the device was delivered before May 15, 2026.
If neither of these criteria applies, please follow the instructions below to determine the platform of your Behnke station.
Identifying the platform
- Open a new tab in your browser, enter the IP address of the Behnke Station in the address bar and log in.
- On the sidebar click
- Navigate to the Information section
- Navigate to the Platform option
