### 1.2.3. Window "Behnke IP-Doorphone Special Configuration"
You get to this window by right-clicking on a Behnke intercom station in the **"IP intercoms"** section to open the context menu and clicking on **"Configure special-functions"**.
>**{-WARNING:-}** The settings in this window only apply to Behnke SIP intercoms of the first generation (delivered before 2013). With newer models, these settings can be made directly on the web interface of the device.
%NUMMER1% **Release buzzer code:**
In the case of a SIP intercom station unknown to the software, the door opener code must first be entered here. If the code has already been entered on the **"IP door intercoms"** tab, the code no longer has to be entered manually here.
%NUMMER2% **Button "read":**
If you have entered the code manually in the **"Release buzzer code"** field, you can then use this button to read out the current configuration of the intercom.
%NUMMER3% **Button "write":**
You can use this button to write the settings to the intercom. Please note that this is only possible after a successful read process.
%NUMMER4% **Send release buzzer code by pressing the "UP"-button two times during a call:**
If this option is checked, you can send a DTMF code from the phone book to the remote station during a call by pressing the "UP" button twice. Either the code of the called subscriber is sent as the code, or if the call was set up by the remote station, the code of the identified subscriber or that of the unknown caller is sent.
%NUMMER5% **Choose relay via DTMF allowed:**
If this box is checked, you can use the DTMF code sequence **"*99n#"** to select the relay to be actuated, with **"n"** being one of the following values:
- 0 = Both Relays (at a new call or after DTMF timeout)
- 1 = relay 1 only
- 2 = relay 2 only
The actual door opening code must be sent directly after the selection sequence, otherwise the selection value will be reset by the timeout. Even if the function is activated, you can still enter the door code alone (i.e. without preselecting **"*99n#"**)!
%NUMMER6% **Door intercom with display:**
Check this box if your SIP station is a device with a display.
%NUMMER7% **continuous dialtone:**
Check this box if you want the intercom station to output a continuous dial tone when a call is triggered.
%NUMMER8% **Call-Logic:**
Select the desired behavior here:
- hang up using any key
- hang up using any key disabled
- hang up using any key other than the one that was pushed to call
- Hang up using any key other than the one that was pushed to call. Call the number assigned to that key.
%NUMMER9% **Abort call/hang up after opening the door via PC:**
This function is used to cancel an initiated call or to disconnect if the door opener relay has been activated via the UDP remote control. To do this, the respective relay must be configured with the **"Door opener"** function. Otherwise the function will only be executed if **"whenever relay 1 is activated"** or **"whenever relay 2 is activated"** is set.
## 1.3. Tab "Surveillance"[^1]
>**{-WARNING:-}** This tab is only visible if the fee-based license for video surveillance has been installed in the IP video software (video multiplex).
%NUMMER1% **Activate surveillance functions:**
If you check this option, the video multiplex window will be opened. If you want to close the window, please uncheck this option.
%NUMMER2% **Selection window:**
In the selection window you can define the layout of the video multiplex window. To add a camera to the layout, switch to the **"SIP stations"** tab. Here you can then drag & drop a camera from the left area of the window to the desired position in the video multiplex window. The configuration window then switches automatically to the **"Video Surveillance"** tab.
%NUMMER3% **Overview:**
In this overview, the selected layout for the video multiplex window is displayed again with the camera names at the corresponding position. Right-clicking on the camera name takes you to the context menu in which you can specify whether the camera's video may be recorded or whether it should record permanently. The camera can also be removed from the multiplex again using this context menu.
%NUMMER4% **Maximum record-length:**
If videos are recorded, you can set the maximum duration of a video sequence with this slider or by entering it directly. After this time, the current recording is ended and a new recording is started in a new file. This means that the recording at a specific point in time can then be easily accessed later.
%NUMMER5% **Screen refresh-rate:**
You can reduce the processor load created by video multiplexing by lowering the refresh rate. This reduces the frame rate of all displayed cameras by the corresponding factor. When set to ¼, a camera that delivers 20 fps will display 5 fps. If another camera delivers 60 frames/s, 15 frames/s are displayed by this camera. This setting only affects the processor load on the display PC.
%NUMMER6% **Show door-video on surveillance pane:**
To increase clarity, you can also display the door video within the video multiplex. The door video will be displayed at the top position when the "Door video in surveillance window" function is activated
and not as a separate window. After the end of the call, the originally configured camera is displayed again. Thus, the video multiplex is not covered by the displayed door video.

# Configuration guide PASCOM®
## 1. Configuration guide
This configuration guide describes how to set up a Behnke Station as a SIP extension of a PASCOM® cloud PBX. Status LED and configuration button
If the device is in the delivery state, there are two possibilities. Either the device has received an address from your DHCP server, or it has assigned itself an address in the link-local network (or APIPA). When announcing the IP address, the call station gives a hint where its IP address comes from (***"The dynamic IP address is: ... "***, or ***"The self-assigned IP address is: ... "***).
If the device has received an IP address from your DHCP server, you should be able to access it with the address. If this is not the case, please check whether it is possibly due to firewall rules, routing or the configuration of your computer.
If the Behnke Station has assigned itself an address despite an existing and accessible DHCP server, please proceed as described in the following step.
## 2. Deactivating fallback to link-local
If the Behnke Station has assigned itself an IP address from the Link-Local/APIPA range despite the presence of a DHCP server, it may simply have taken too long to receive a response to the DHCP request. In this case you can simply disable the fallback to Link-Local:
- Please assign your computer a link-local address as well, otherwise you will not be able to access the Behnke Station's web interface. The address of the computer must be in the range 169.254.0.0/16, for example `169.254.123.123`, with using the netmask `255.255.0.0`.

- Then access the Behnke Station's web interface via browser using the IP address and log in. Then go to **"Network"** in the menu on the left. Then scroll down to the **“Device”** area. There, select the option **"no"** for **"Allow fallback to link-local"** and click Save.

The device will then reboot and try to obtain an address via DHCP again. A link-local address will no longer be assigned, even if the address assignment via DHCP takes a long time.
**{-ATTENTION:-}** In networks without a DHCP server, the fallback should not be deactivated because otherwise the call station will not start with an IP address and the configuration interface will therefore not be accessible.
If it is not possible to access the Behnke Station's web interface, please contact our support:

## 3. DHCP
The address assignment via DHCP should now have been completed successfully. After the device has restarted, you can query the device's address again as described in step 1. If the address assignment still doesn't work, the DHCP server is probably not accessible from the device. If you can rule out a problem in the local network, please contact our support.

Status LED
Depending on the operating mode and the status of the device, the LED glows or flashes in certain colors. You can use the table below to check whether the Behnke Station is operational and the web interface should therefore also be accessible.
| Web interface should be accessible | Web interface is not accessible |
| ---------------------------------- | ------------------------------- |
|
analogue telephone |
start phase |
|
SIP phone: all configured SIP accounts registered |
reboot |
|
SIP phone: configured SIP accounts only partially registered |
analogue telephone without network |
|
SIP telephone for direct SIP calls |
SIP phone: no SIP account registered / no network |
|
intercom mode |
SIP telephone for direct SIP calls without network |
|
hybrid mode |
intercom mode without network |
|
hybrid mode: not all configured SIP accounts are registered |
temporary shut down due to high temperature |
|
sabotage detected / safety shutdown activated |
firmware update |
| |
hardware error |
If the web interface of the Behnke Station should be accessible according to this table, but you still cannot access it, please continue with step 2.
If the Behnke Station is in a status in which the web interface is not accessible according to the LED, you will find possible solutions below.
-
/
**Start phase, or reboot**:
The device is just restarting or booting up. Just wait for the boot up to complete and the status to change. If the Behnke Station is not ready for operation after more than five minutes (see table above) and the two states "start phase" and "reboot" constantly alternate, your Behnke Station may be in a boot loop. How to fix this problem is described in the following guide: [Boot Loop](problem_boot_loop).
-
/
/
/
**Analogue telephone without network** / **SIP phone: no SIP account registered / no network** / **SIP telephone for direcct SIP calls without network** / **intercom mode without network**:
Either the Behnke Station is being operated as an analogue telephone and there is no network cable connected, or there is a problem with the network connection. If necessary, please check the connected network cable/network connection or connect a network cable. If the network connection is OK, there may be a faulty network configuration of the Behnke Station itself. If a reboot doesn't solve the problem, you can activate the [network configuration mode](System_network_configuration_mode) and adjust the configuration of the Behnke Station.
-
**temporary shut down due to high temperature**:
In order to avoid a defect the Behnke Station was shut down because the temperature was too high. This can happen, for example if the device is exposed to direct sunlight for a longer period of time, especially on devices with a dark front panel. You can either wait until the device has cooled down enough for the safety shutdown to end, or you can end it manually by pressing the configuration button, a call button, a button on the keypad, touching the display, or by calling the Behnke Station as a hybrid devices via the analog line.
-
**firmware update**:
A firmware update is currently in progress. Please wait until the update is complete and the station is operational again. This can take a few minutes.
-
**hardware error**:
If there is a hardware error, the Behnke Station tries - if possible - to output an error number via the status LED, the speaker or the display (if available). The status LED displays the error number after flashing rapidly several times. The LED should then go out briefly and then flash yellow several times to indicate the error number. In the event of a hardware error, please contact our support.
If the possible solutions mentioned here do not solve the problem and the Behnke Station is still in a non-operational state, please contact our support: Support Ticket
## 2. Output IP address
If the status LED indicates that the Behnke Station is ready for operation, you can use the configuration button to have the IP address announced. To do this, briefly press the configuration button once to start the voice menu. You will then be guided through the menu with voice prompts.
When announcing the IP address, you will also receive information as to whether the IP address has been assigned dynamically (DHCP), is configured statically, or has been assigned by the Behnke Station itself (link local address).
Please then check whether the given IP address matches the address with which you are trying to access the web interface. Please also check whether the computer from which you want to access is in the same IP address range. If necessary, give the computer a corresponding IP address in the same network range.
## 3. Firewall
Please check whether a firewall is preventing access to the web interface and, if necessary, set up a corresponding rule. The web interface can be reached via HTTP on port 80 and via HTTPS on port 443.
## 4. Browser
Access via HTTP may have been deactivated in the station. Therefore, please also check whether the web interface can be reached via HTTPS.
In addition, the used browser should be as up-to-date as possible. The Behnke Station could be set in such a way that only HTTPS is permitted, and the strongest possible encryption process is enforced. This could result in older browsers no longer being able to access the web interface. If necessary, also check the browser settings.
## 5. Contact support
If the web interface is still not accessible despite the instructions listed here, please contact our support:
