Configuration guide\n\nThis configuration guide describes how to set up a Behnke Station as a SIP extension of a 3CX® virtual phone system. We are assuming that the basic configuration of the 3CX® system has already been done, and we will only describe the steps required to register the Behnke Station with 3CX®. We also assume that the Behnke station has already been integrated into the network and can be accessed via the IP address in a browser.\n\n### 1.1. Configuring the extension for the Behnke Station\n\nPlease note that the configuration of the extension is only shown very briefly and the configuration may vary for your 3CX®. If in doubt, please contact your 3CX® support.\n\n- First, please open the 3CX® Management Console in your browser and log in with your admin credentials.\n\n ![Login screen of the 3CX® Management Console](uploads/f580437a4df29295adb2eb126c1d37d9/3CX_E_01.png)\n\n- In the menu on the left please click on **\"Users\"**.\n\n ![\"Users\" entry in the 3CX® menu](uploads/6fa794fbac76fb5c110be93fbead0ca4/3CX_E_02.png)\n\n- Click on `+ Add`.\n\n ![\"+ Add\" button in the 3CX® user overview](uploads/08847f7e431962d96cda66aaf9a1a7eb/3CX_E_03.png)\n\n- Specify the extension for the Behnke station in the **\"Extension\"** field and fill out the other fields if necessary. Then switch to the **\"Phone Provisioning\"** tab at the top.\n\n ![Extension settings for the Behnke Station in the 3CX® Management Console](uploads/9ac0f515e4071d763235fd4dfc4bc5b3/3CX_E_04.png)\n\n- Set the **\"ID\"** and the corresponding **\"Password\"** and write down these credentials. These credentials and the extension are required in the next step for registering the Behnke Station with your 3CX®. Then click **\"OK\"** at the top.\n\n ![\"Phone Provisioning\" tab with SIP ID and password in the 3CX® Management Console](uploads/5c0c894671935b5c6d0433d7748aa484/3CX_E_05.png)\n\n### 1.2. Trouble shooting\n\nPlease click on a problem below, in order to get an exact description and solutions.\n\n<details>
SIP registration fails, despite correct SIP credentials. The 3CX® system no longer responds to SIP requests from the Behnke Station.

\n If a device with a specific IP address failed several times in registering via SIP (e.g. using incorrect SIP credentials), 3CX® will ban the corresponding IP address. The IP address must then be removed manually from the 3CX®'s blacklist. The IP blacklist can be found on the configuration interface under \"Security\".

![IP blacklist under \"Security\" in the 3CX® Management Console](uploads/c7bda49a9671ba9f3960eb7c173d7190/3CX_E_Sperrliste.png)\n</details>\n\n## 3.
